"A Leader’s Journey from Now to Wow!
Day 1: Arrival Liberia International Airport 8:00pm
Transfer to Villa Puesta del Sol, El Ocotal, Guanacaste Province, Costa Rica Go Wild! Go GREAT!
(30 minutes driving time)
As part of your retreat package, your group will receive a Retreats Costa Rica EO Facilitation Guide that includes a leader’s guide to our mastermind programs. This guide will help the team with sample activities and "food for thought" questions during evening gathering of the Executive Tribe. You will also receive a copy of "Blueprint for Success", co-authored by our faculty director, Rosemary Rein, PhD, Dr. Stephen Covey and Ken Blanchard.
Villa Puesta del Sol is located in El Ocotal, Guanacaste Province with a bird nest view overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Bay of Papagayo on the Northwest Pacific Coast of Costa Rica, the country often referred to as the "Switzerland of Central America."
Villa Puesta del Sol is a private luxury nine-bedroom, nine-bath villa with a full staff (cook, maid, and houseboy). The villa has a swimming pool with a waterfall overlooking the Pacific. All bedrooms are air conditioned and spacious. All meals prepared and served onsite with full juice and soft beverage bar. This Villa will serve as your presidential group sanctuary for fun and adventure.
Day 2: Flying High and Going Wild! Rincon de La Vieja Adventure
(2 hr drive each way, 5am – 7pm)
Throw in a little risk taking and reward with a bubbling mud bath! Engage your sense of adventure and develop your skills of adaptability, conservation of energy and a positive mental attitude.
The Rincon De La Vieja is an action packed full day expedition that features a guided visit to Hacienda Guachipelin Lodge, next to Rincon De La Vieja National Park. Discover the meeting place of continents where water buffalo live amongst Costa Rica's volcanic plains. There are 4 main activities during this day of adventure canopy (zip line) tour and rappelling through the Rio Blanco Canyon, a tubing adventure on the Rio Negro River with class III rapids, horseback riding expedition to nearby waterfalls, relax at a rustic spa featuring volcano heated thermal waters, steam and mud bath. Find your Tarzan and Jane on this full day high adventure!

Day 3: Get A Hole in One Beachside at the Hacienda Pinilla!
(Playas Avellana/Negra 2 hr drive each way)
The 7,300-yard, par 72 masterpiece golf course is the creation of Mike Young, who is responsible for some of the finest courses in the southern United States.
At Hacienda Pinilla, you'll see a shining example of Young's passion for the game, respect for tradition, concern for the environment and sharp eye for detail. Each hole was designed to conform to the slopes and contours of the natural landscape. Not only has he met the highest standards required by international golf organizations in building the course, but recently the property earned certification as an Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary for its preservation of the ecological balance of the area.
Activity includes 9 holes of golf and 2 carts.
Optional ATV Adventure Tour;
(35 minute drive each way, 2 hour tour)
This ATV adventure will begin at Playa Panama, where 2 guides will lead you through the mountain ranges above the Panama beach. These trails take you all the way to Sardinal where you will see the natural beauty of Costa Rica and the native wildlife as you wind through the pathways of discovery. This tour ends back at Playa Panama and is sure to get your adrenalin going.
Casino Nightlife in Playas Del Coco:
Hotel Casino Coco Bay is in Playas del Coco and is open daily 2pm-2am. The casino's 2,750 square foot gaming space features 40 Gaming machines, 3 Blackjack tables, roulette, poker and 2 Rommy Blackjack tables. The property has one restaurant and one bar.
Drinks are free for those trying their luck in the casino.
Gambling, shopping and socializing at individual’s expense.
Day 4: "Beyond the Sea" Blue Marlin Fishing Expedition and Dolphin Watch
Launch into the legendary waters of the Pacific Ocean from Ocotal Beach. The Gulf of Papagayo is one of the premier sport fishing destinations in the world. It is home to an amazing variety and quantity of game fish. Costa Rica’s reputation for world-class catches draws enthusiasts from all over the globe. There are bill fish all year round in the Gulf of Papagayo.
Catch and release is practiced for all fishing with ALL species. In addition to the Sailfish which grace the waters, Blue and Black Marlin thrive and cruise by the boat often enough to keep anglers on their toes. More than 40 IGFA world records have been established in the area. You will be taken to areas where you can live your fishing fantasies with Marlin, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Yellow Fin Tuna, Kingfish and many more.
Your experienced Captain, who will guide you through these waters and help make it a memorable day for you and your companions. The Doña del Mar II, 2005 is fully equipped with out-riggers, downriggers and Penn Equipment. Catering to the individual needs of the group, instruction is given on how to hook and land your own fish or accommodate the preferences of the veteran fisherman with a complete range of fishing techniques and the finest tackle and equipment. Hook up, and get ready for the sport fishing experience of a lifetime!

Socializing at Playa Del Coco
(15 minute drive)
Playa Del Coco is one of Costa Rica's liveliest beach towns after dark. On the road into town, you'll find the Lizard Lounge, which has a popular pool table and a laid-back tropical vibe. For a more European style, check out Zouk Santana, which often has a DJ spinning electronic dance and lounge music. Finally, for a Middle Eastern-inspired mellow lounge scene, head to the new Kashbar, in the Pueblito shopping center. On the south end of the beach, you'll find La Vida Loca a lively beachfront bar, with a pool table, Ping-Pong table, and foosball table, as well as occasional live bands.
Cocomar is the main disco in town. It's just off the little park fronting the beach. The Café de Playa often has live music and concerts, with major acts from San José, as well as local talent filling the bills. Finally, if you want to test your luck, head to the casino at the Coco Bay Hotel & Casino.

Day 5: Transfer to Liberia Int'l Airport 8:00am
