City Slickers CEO Dude Ranch
Southern California
Destination: 40 Miles North of Santa Barbara
The Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort is located in the heart of California’s central coast. Raising cattle here has been a tradition since 1843. A century later, Alisal opened to guests; since then, they’ve mastered the art of hospitality! Alisal welcomes groups of up to 200 to use their WiFi-equipped meeting space, enjoy breakfast horseback rides, and tackle the ropes course or boat on their 100 acre lake. Note, though, that there are no telephones (or televisions) in guest rooms—attendees need to bring cell phones.
The Ranch is just minutes away from the quaint town of Solvang (Danish for "sunny fields"). Take in the charming Danish architecture as you stroll through its 200+ shops and specialty boutiques.
You’ll find everything from traditional Danish chocolates and baked goods, to quality European imports and collectables.
If wine is your passion, the Santa Ynez Valley produces some of the finest premium wines in the world. With over 9,500 acres of vineyards and 60 wineries, enthusiasts can enjoy the tours and tastes of one of the fastest growing wine regions in the country.
As one of the group’s special events, Rosemary will host the Wisdom of Winemakers Leadership Workshop in which the participants will learn how the same ingredients that go into making and tasting "fine wine" are needed in Executive Leadership.
